I never realized what a liar David Gold is. 1st hand experience has shown me that he is a massive liar. Or he could just be a plain old fraud.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt and asked for his clarification 3 times yet he now ignores me after telling me I was wrong with facts taken from the WH accounts. I wish an early death on the conman now.

Where is/was he getting a guaranteed 10%+ pa yield from an investment before the loan?
Our war chest must be about £100m in the summer if you listen to him before they add the extra budget.
Can't stand listening to Ex, fucking breathe for fuck sake. he talks for a couple of minutes on one breath. Also, DG calls him Ex, odd!
I will say though DG has been brutally honest, its just all very unambitious, or ambitious without stumping up the money to be ambitious.

Gold said that the debt was down to £80m and that's true. The figure shown in the accts show just under £67m and a note says that £67m doesn't include the interest due to them.
Nearly £13m was accrued in the accts (mostly repaid after the end of financial year). G&S will never point out that their loan interest increased WH's debts....

He was as honest as I expected him to be, but they really need Sullivan to front up to an interview...he needs to explain why he's such a PR disaster and what plans he has for further investment from other companies...all I really gauged from the interview is that we're poor compared to other clubs and that we're plodding on with a debt that will probably never be reduced. Gold is a west ham fan but that's not enough going forward.. we're trying to compete with the big boys and yes we've got a big stadium, but no substance behind it.

When someone has to bang on so much about not questioning their integrity then it is pretty likely they don't have any.
Listening to him he tells his life story like a well rehearsed fairy story and pretty much is full of contradictions which you normally make allowances from an 82 year old man but he has been saying it all this for years you can't.
He comes across like someone who is trying to gain your trust and empathy then when he achieves that takes advantage of you, so much in that interview tells you why you should be cautious trusting a word he says
